Hemsedal

On the top of Hallingdalen, 220 km North of Oslo, lies the small village of Hemsedal. The village is sparsely populated, and has beautiful farms and great nature with high mountains surrounding the beautiful valley.
From Oslo/Gardermoen or Bergen, you'll reach Hemsedal in about 4,5 hours. The village does not have connections directly to the
railways. |

| Hemsedal has many vigorous activities for meeting and congresses in the summer. The road to Lærdal is short, and here you'll find one of Europe's best salmon rivers. You can also visit the Norwegian Center for Wild Salmon, or enjoy a boat trip on the fantastic Lærdalsfjorden, a part of Sognefjorden. The village offers a rich and wide range of cultural and sporting
activities.

Hemsedal offers one of Northern Europe's best alpine activities. There are a huge selection of alpine tracks satisfying to everybody, both beginners and the more experienced ones. It is a paradise for those who enjoys cross-country skiing and hiking to the peaks of the
mountains.
